Thanks for considering volunteering at THVC! There are many areas that your support and assistance could be useful. You could visit with residents, play games, work in the gift shop or craft room, provide general office assistance, assist a resident with an activity, read to a resident, escort a resident to an appointment or just sit quietly with a resident. Many of our former residents, families, friends and Veteran Organizations ask how they can "give back" to Thomson-Hood Veterans Center in appreciation of the Veterans and the care they receive. One way to show appreciation is through a financial contribution. Contributions are used to provide recreational outings and special equipment for our Veterans. Thomson-Hood offers a number of opportunities to honor a loved one and/or express appreciation.
